Mandy wept again when seeing the white hair on her mum’s head, mum has already been old. For years, this tough woman propped up an area of life for her little girl by herself. She never complained for unfair destiny and bitter life.
Looking into the mirror, looking at this old woman who was wearing a plus size mother of bride dress, Mandy finally can’t help crying out of voice. How can she lets her lonely mum alone and marry another man? Mum hugged her and patted slightly on her shoulder:” Mandy, you must be brave and be a good wife. I am fine. Promise me you will be happy.” Mandy nodded energetically, “I promise, mum.” She said and meanwhile tidied up mum’s mother of bride dress, “But you must also promise me you will call me at the first time when you have any problem.”
She turned aside to wipe away her tears, since her father died 15 years ago, she lived with her mum alone, and now, she will leave her. She knew why mum refused her to live with them couple just like she knew mum’s deep love to her and mum’s obstination. So, ok. She took mum’s hand and they both walked to hall, where her husband and guests were waiting.
