September 2002, Julia was invited to host the charity event for 9·11. When she was choosing the evening dress she should wear for this event. She kept in mind the atmosphere for this event should not be too serious neither happy. It should be heart-moving and warm. So, the dress for this event should also fit this atmosphere. She finally made up her mind to wear that white evening dress she liked most to this special event.
On 11th September, wearing her most favorite evening dress, Julia hosted the event brilliantly. At the end of this event, however, Julia made a brave decision. She stepped onto the stage and said, “I now make an auction for the evening dress I am wearing now. The money gathered will be donated for this event.”
As she has expected, this evening dress really has a high offer. After the auction, she talked with the person who has made the highest offer for this gown. And the person told her, “I bought this evening gown not because it is elegant, beautiful or something of this kind. It simply because I want to keep the memory it gives to me.”
And she also told Julia, “I have a great collection for all kinds of evening dress now. Each of them has its own story. And now, I am still collecting different kinds of them. I hope that one day I can make an exhibition for all the evening dresses I have collected and tell the whole word the stories they carry.”

As the Festival De Cannes went on, mass media gave reports to this event. News is filled with articles like what’s going on in Festival De Cannes, who was the most attractive female star, whose evening dress is most amazing and also some embarrassments happened there.
Last night, when I checked the news for that day, I saw a news about the embarrassment happened on the beginning ceremony.
When the opening ceremony began and all the participants took entrance, the host began to give introduction to each participant. Our Chinese singer Isabella entered with a noble and elegant purple evening dress. However, as she looks like very much like another Chinese actor, Fan Bingbing. The host mistook her as Fan Bingbing and made the introduction for Fan Bingbing when she entered. As the introductions went on, many foreign photographers called “Bingbing” to Isabella. Thus she attracted more attention than everyone would have expected.
And after few minutes, Fan Bingbing arrived with her noble imperial robe. This tired every one in present very much. The host had to make an excuse and said that Isabella is Fan’s sister and this one is the real Fan Bingbing.
Though, it was by mistake that Isabella had won so much attention. We have to admit that her elegant purple evening dress made her really charming that night and she really deserved that attention.

Recently, as the Festival De Cannes went on. News is flooded with female stars’ evening dresses. Certainly, the topic among our girls is also about the evening dresses those female super stars wore.
“You know what our Chinese beauty wore for the opening ceremony of Festival De Cannes?” My friend Enya asked me after she had a look at the news that day.
“It must be something very elegant and gorgeous. As you know, Fan always has a wonderful taste for fashion.” I replied.
“This time, she is not only elegant and gorgeous, but also something like unmatchable. You see, she wore an imperial robe for the opening.” Enya showed me the pictures.
“Wow, this is magnificent! I have to say she really knows how to attract others’ eyes.”
“Yes, by this imperial robe, she did not only show herself off, but also the beauty of China. Because, you know, dragons are the mascot of China. And robes with dragons on it used to be the clothed for emperor in ancient China…” Enya began her continuous comments.
“What would she wear in the following days, you guess?” I interrupted her.
“Who knows, she will always bring new surprise to us. Let’s wait and see what kind of evening dresses she will wear in the following days, especially on the closing ceremony. As she got such a good beginning, she wouldn’t let us down for the end.”
So, let’s wait and see the marvelous evening dress show on the closing ceremony of Festival De Cannes.
