Around half a month later, I was invited by a friend to take part in his engagement party. Out of my expectation, the girl in the white evening dress I have met in the café was there too.
Different from the last time I saw her, she did not wear any party dress or evening dress that day, simply some formal clothes. And she toasted and chatted with the people in such a high spirit that I can hardly connect her with the girl in the white evening dress I have met in the café.
Anyway, it was great to see her again. I wouldn’t let this chance go without making any progress in knowing her. So, I joined her with the toast and seized every chance I could get to talk with her so as to get familiar with her.
After the party, I offered a ride for her. Fortunately, she did not refuse me this time. On the way, we exchanged our phone number for further contact. And I got to know her name is Anne.
Several days later when we got quite familiar with each other, I expressed my love to Anne. After a moment’s hesitation, Anne accepted my love. And then, Anne quitted her former job to come to work in my company.
I was quite happy with the situation while my partner Will seemed to be a little bit annoyed. He once said to me that he doesn’t like Anne’s penetrating eyes because they looked just like the eyes of policeman.
“Have you done something illegal so as to be afraid of Anne’s penetrating eyes?” I joked.
On the other hand, Anne seemed to be much interested in Will and would usually inquiry me about things related to Will.
However, as I was immersed in the love I did not take this matter to my heart. As long as Anne and I love each other, I didn’t care about the relationship between Anne and Will.

That night, Cinderella became the happiest girl in the party, as she got the invitation from the prince. She was really radiant with the shinning and elegant evening dresses deriving from the Tree of Wishes. And the most exciting thing was that she could fit in the crystal shoes provided by the prince. That night, all the other ladies were dark and insignificant, even they were all wearing beautiful and luxury evening dresses. But they were stupid and they would never know the reason why they could not fit in those shoes.
My dear Cinderella, she was really so lucky. Even she could not get enough love from the family, she still worked very hard and she made great relationship with other people. Every day, she was radiant and optimistic to the difficult life that she could not change in a short time. Bu she was confident that she would meet the god of luck and give her happiness. Usually, she would go to the tomb of her dead mother, crying for the unhappiness and difficulties happened in the past days, and the Tree of Wishes always listened to her silently.
A Monday morning, a very explosive news spread in the whole city that the prince wanted to select his princess in the citizens of this city. But he got some tests for the selection: that the selected lady should be decent, elegant, good dancing and the most important thing was that she had to fit in the crystal shoes prepared by the prince. Cinderella also heard this news and she went to the tomb of mother and asked if she should go. At this moment, the Tree of Wishes sent her the beautiful party dresses and pushed her to go to the selection party. Cinderella was really surprised that the tree would say things to her. That’s really a perilous and strange thing!
So, my dear friends, right now I am sure you already know the last scene of this story: Cinderella won the appreciation of the prince and she finally wore the prince’s crystal shoes to go out dating with the prince. All her neighbors felt so happy for her as they know Cinderella would repay them soon.
But I am sure you don’t know why Cinderella wears that beautiful evening dresses and why she is the only lucky guy who can fit in the crystal shoes. The beautiful prom dresses is prepared by her lovely neighbors and the key point, the crystal shoes, this is also designed by her neighbor according to the size of Cinderella.
No matter how will you think of this, about Cinderella, about this cheating thing, but she deserves it.

September 2002, Julia was invited to host the charity event for 9·11. When she was choosing the evening dress she should wear for this event. She kept in mind the atmosphere for this event should not be too serious neither happy. It should be heart-moving and warm. So, the dress for this event should also fit this atmosphere. She finally made up her mind to wear that white evening dress she liked most to this special event.
On 11th September, wearing her most favorite evening dress, Julia hosted the event brilliantly. At the end of this event, however, Julia made a brave decision. She stepped onto the stage and said, “I now make an auction for the evening dress I am wearing now. The money gathered will be donated for this event.”
As she has expected, this evening dress really has a high offer. After the auction, she talked with the person who has made the highest offer for this gown. And the person told her, “I bought this evening gown not because it is elegant, beautiful or something of this kind. It simply because I want to keep the memory it gives to me.”
And she also told Julia, “I have a great collection for all kinds of evening dress now. Each of them has its own story. And now, I am still collecting different kinds of them. I hope that one day I can make an exhibition for all the evening dresses I have collected and tell the whole word the stories they carry.”
